About this gallery:

We love cars. We love trucks. We love boats... and planes... and lawn tractors... and bicycles...

Basically, if it moves, has some style, and is well detailed, we're smitten. So, share your pictures with us to be included in your own personalized gallery page here at the Werkstatt. Just don't let the fame go to your head!

Here's some tips:

Watch the background. Too much random clutter behind the vehicle can really distract from the beauty you're trying to focus on. Look for interesting scenery, be it a natural outlook or a stunning piece of architecture, that compliments your subject matter.

Watch the lighting. Good photography is most often the result of good lighting. Walk around the vehicle and watch how the light plays off the surfaces. Then you can compose the shot from the most advantageous angle.

Watch the reflections. Like the background and lighting, the reflections seen in your well-polished vehicle panels can make or break your photos. Avoid reflecting random clutter. Look for something beautiful to compliment the car.

Capture a detail. Sometimes the trick is not to reveal too much. A well framed picture of some detail of your car--the curve of a fender, the reflections off a hood--can speak more loudly about the quality of your detailing skills than a full-body shot.
